«It is an abolute pleasure to listen to this sound and this skill.»
Süddeutsche Zeitung, 25.10.22
His debut at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden Berlin as Michael in G. F. Haas' chamber opera "Thomas" was recently followed by a nomination as "Young Artist of the Year" in the magazine "Opernwelt". The 2023/24 season now brings several role and house debuts: Elmar Hauser can be seen at Zurich Opera House in "Musikgeschichten: A Midsummer Night's Dream" and in the world premiere of Ludger Vollmer's "Buddenbrooks" at Theater Kiel. As a cover, he is working on the role of Orlofsky under Vladimir Jurowski and Barrie Kosky in the new BSO production of "Die Fledermaus". In addition to concert appearances with the early music ensembles Accademia di Monaco and La Fontaine, he gets to sing with the Lautten Compagney Berlin in "Der Teufel im Lift" at the Neuköllner Oper - he embodies the role of the Devil.
