The 2024/2025 season ended for Elmar Hauser with an acclaimed debut at Frankfurt Opera as Ruggiero in the new production of G. F. Handel's "Alcina", directed by Johannes Erath and conducted by Julia Jones. This role will now take the winner of the CLIP competition in Portofino to the Ravenna Festival, where he will also make his debut as Medoro in Handel's "Orlando", accompanied by the Accademia Byzantina under the musical direction of Ottavio Dantone. Following a revival of the children's opera "A Midsummer Night's Dream" at the Zurich Opera House, he embodies the role of Tamasse in
a new production of J. C. Bach's "Zanaida" at the Potsdam Winter Opera under the Baton of Johanna Soller. On the concert stage, the countertenor will perform in Bern, Basel, Zurich and Crema, as well as making his debut with the Musikkollegium Winterthur in Händels «Messiah».
